The Legacy of the 68 strike and the Student Center Murals (Updated over a year ago)

The first part of this panel and presentation will be to discuss the history of the Student Center and to educate and encourage participation in social justice movements. A panel discussion will follow to address the murals and the correlation between the mission of the Student Center Governing Board and the connection between the ideals of the 1968 strike. The five exterior murals are: Palestinian, Filipino, API, Malcolm X, and Cesar Chavez. http://ethnicstudies.sfsu.edu
